We had beautiful weather and a great turn out for our Potluck Picnic and Awards Celebration. With so many of our athletes together, we couldn't pass up the chance to take some team photos. The best of which will be included in our Album titled: 2nd Annual Picnic and Awards Ceremony. Team Basketball, Basketball Skills, Track and Field, Bocce, and Bowlers were all in attendance.
A pot luck meal was next on the agenda, followed by the presentation by Coach Deb Carroll. Our treasury, expenses for the year and future
fundraisers were discussed. The award presentation followed. Certificates and pins were given to the athletes to honor their participation in each sport. Duffel bags donated by Lands' End were presented to our newest Athletes who have qualified for State events. Then Coach presented the awards for Agency 6-52 Male and Female Athletes of the Year. We are pleased to announce that the Female Athlete of the Year is Susan Benzler. We had a tie for Male Athlete of the year. Arnold Jesse and Frank Gundlach were selected to share this honor. Rookie of the year honors went out to Keni Gillingham. Congratulations to all our Athletes! You have had a wonderful year!
Special Thanks were extended to all the Coaches, volunteers, van drivers, to our sponsors, and to all that have helped make this a successful year for our Agency. We couldn't have done it without you!
